Primary Teaching Assistant – Bridport Location: Bridport ️ Start Date: June 2025 Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible Salary: £85 - £95 per day (depending on experience and responsibilities)Are you a caring, motivated individual with a passion for supporting children’s learning? Teaching Personnel is working closely with welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Bridport, who are seeking Teaching Assistants to join their teams for the new academic year.Whether you’re an experienced TA or looking to begin a career in education, we want to hear from you!Your Role:As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital part in supporting the classroom teacher and helping pupils reach their full potential—academically, socially, and emotionally. Positions are available in EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with options to work 1:1 with pupils with additional needs or in a general classroom support role.Key Responsibilities: Supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessonsWorking 1:1 or in small groups with pupilsAssisting with classroom management and behaviourHelping to prepare learning materials and resourcesCreating a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment We are looking for: Experience working with children (in a school or similar setting)A caring and patient approachGood communication and teamwork skillsWillingness to learn and undertake training (e.g., safeguarding)A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one) Why work with Teaching Personnel?
