LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority based in South London for a locum/temporary commercial property lawyer on a full-time basis. The contract will start with an initial 3-month period and has potential to extend from there as necessary. You will handle a caseload of commercial property matters relating to sales, purchases, leases, licences etc. A good understanding of land title matters and property transactions would be ideal. This role requires some office attendance, ideally 2 days per week in the office, so you must live locally enough to attend on a hybrid basis. To apply you will be: An England and Wales qualified solicitor, barrister or chartered legal executive with minimum 2 years’ PQE Able to demonstrate previous experience handling a caseload of commercial property matters in a local government environment Able to attend the office in South London 2 days per week Available on no more than a 4-week notice period The salary guidance from the client for this role is £35-£55/hour umbrella dependent on experience.
