With a strong focus on cross-border matters, they’re uniquely positioned to navigate complex international legal challenges.Our client pride themselves on their global mindset, multicultural teams (representing 90 nationalities and 80 languages), and their seamless collaboration across practice areas and geographies.The RoleDue to continued success, Themis Recruit are seeking an exceptional associate with 2 to 4 years PQE to join our clients London-based Commercial Litigation team, focusing on disputes involving major technology companies.The successful candidate will work on a broad spectrum of matters—from regulatory investigations and international litigation to compliance advisory and product risk assessment—providing strategic legal counsel to some of the world’s most influential tech clients.This is a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of law, technology, and global policy, advising on cutting-edge issues like online safety, intermediary liability, data protection, free speech, and more.What You’ll DoLead and implement litigation strategies across jurisdictions including the UK, EU, and beyond.Advise on global regulatory matters, including investigations by OFCOM, the European Commission, and other international agencies.Conduct legal risk assessments for new products, features, and policiesMonitor and interpret legislation impacting technology companies worldwideProvide strategic counsel on issues such as content moderation, defamation, IP infringement, privacy, consumer protection, and contractual disputesCollaborate closely with international colleagues across practice areas including Antitrust, IP, ESG, and ArbitrationRequirements2–4 years of litigation and/or regulatory experience (private practice preferred)Strong academic background and demonstrated interest in internet and tech lawExcellent legal research, drafting, and communication skillsStrong judgment, business awareness, and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesProactive team player with a collaborative approach and a client-first mindsetBenefitsWork alongside industry leaders in a dynamic, globally connected environmentGain hands-on experience on some of the most high-profile, complex disputes in the tech worldBe part of a friendly, supportive team that values professional growth and developmentCompetitive salary and benefits, plus extensive opportunities for international exposure
