Job Title: GCSE Intervention Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, BasildonJob Type: Temporary, expected to work Part-Time hoursPrimary Industry: Education and TrainingSalary: £20 - £30 Per hourJob Duties: Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students in English, Maths, and Science subjectsDevelop tailored intervention plans to address specific learning needs and improve academic performanceAssess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordinglyCommunicate with students' parents or guardians to provide feedback on student progressMaintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress Required Qualifications: A relevant degree in Education, English, Maths, Science, or a related fieldExperience in teaching or tutoring GCSE level subjectsDemonstrated ability to engage students and motivate them to achieve academic success Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Maths, Science, or related field Experience: Prior experience in teaching or tutoring GCSE level subjects Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the UK education system and GCSE curriculumExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning stylesOrganisational skills to track student progress and maintain recordsExperience working with students from diverse backgrounds Working Conditions: Part-time hours, temporary positionWork in a learners home or local libraryFlexible schedule based on student availability All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
