Warehouse Operative HOURS: 37.5 Mon- Sat 5 shifts on rota basis Shift times 0700-1630,0900-1830 & Sat 0700-1600 About The Role Our client, a well-established family business, is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join their Chilled Warehouse Team as pickers and packers. As a Chilled Warehouse Operative, you will play a vital role within their distribution chain, linking production and haulage to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of customer orders. This hands-on, physically active role requires working in a temperature-controlled environment with temperatures between 2-6 Celsius - where accuracy and efficiency are paramount. Main Duties Accurate picking and stock rotation of customer orders Stock replenishment and maintaining a safe, clean working environment Loading and securing orders on delivery vehicles Complying with food hygiene regulations Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Prior experience in a warehouse or food production environment is preferred but not essential; candidates who are proactive, accurate, and comfortable working under pressure are welcome to apply. Important Notes This role requires manual handling and adherence to strict hygiene standards. Due to food hygiene regulations only one solid wedding band is permitted. No earrings, studs, bracelets, necklaces, makeup, strong smelling deodorants or perfumes are permitted in the production area. Reliable transportation to the Tewkesbury site is necessary, as public transport may not align with shift times.
