Poole Calling: Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant Position Available Now!Job Title: Special Education Needs TA Location: Poole Salary: £13.68 to £16.12 per hour (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Full-time/PermanentGSL Education are seeking a reliable and helpful SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly school in Poole. You will provide vital support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to learn and succeed.About the Role: You will work closely with teachers to give extra help to students who need it. This includes working one-on-one or in small groups, helping with lessons, and making sure all students can join in class activities.What You Will Do: Give extra learning support to students with SEN.Help teachers change lessons for individual student needs.Help students with their feelings and getting along with others.Make a friendly and welcoming classroom.Help keep the classroom organised and encourage good behaviour.Write down and share how students are doing with teachers. What’s Needed for This Role Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, especially with SEN, in a school is desirable.A strong desire to help students learn and do well.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to change how you help, depending on what the student needs.A CV covering the last ten years (with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
