Locum Reablement Occupational Therapist (Band 6) – High Pay, Flexible Contract in Somerset!Are you a Band 6 Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding locum role in Somerset? Job Title: Reablement Occupational Therapist (Band 6) Location: Somerset Duration: Ongoing contract Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time hours Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Rate of Pay: Up to £32 per hour Contact: Grace Snedden – / What You’ll Be Doing: Join our team as a Reablement Occupational Therapist and become a pivotal part of a service that helps individuals regain independence following illness, injury, loss of confidence, or hospital admission. In this role, you will: Perform strengths-based assessments with clients in their own homes Design and implement personalised and creative reablement plans Support individuals in achieving independence and improved well-being Collaborate with OT assistants, support workers, and a Principal OT Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need: A current and valid HCPC registration A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience Experience in reablement or community-based care is highly desirable A valid UK driver’s licence (essential for community visits) Excellent communication, assessment, and planning skills A proactive approach to problem-solving and team collaboration Working Hours & Contract Duration: This flexible locum position requires availability from Monday to Friday.
