The school is proud of its inclusive ethos, strong values, and commitment to developing the whole child.They are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS/KS1 Class Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover contract from September 2025. This is a wonderful opportunity to become part of a close-knit staff who work collaboratively to deliver high-quality learning experiences that spark curiosity and foster independence.We are looking for someone who:
Has experience teaching in EYFS and/or KS1Demonstrates a deep understanding of early childhood developmentBuilds strong relationships with children, parents, and colleaguesPlans and delivers engaging and creative lessonsHas high expectations for all learnersShow effective classroom management, teaching and planningIs able to monitor, assess, record and report
Other professional requirements:
QTS qualification and other relevant qualifications
Be willing to update and enhance their skills through professional development
Participate in school meetings
Uphold school policies and procedures
Have a valid enhanced child only DBS which is on the update service
