Job DescriptionAs a Cocktail Server, you will support the seamless running of the two Hotel bars, by providing a highly efficient and effective service ensuring a smooth delivery of our delicious drinks and bar snacks to our guest’s tables.Provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.Greeting and acknowledging guests whilst building a rapport.Recognising repeat guests and addressing them with their names.Be knowledgeable of food and cocktail menus offered and be able to answer queries and/or offer suggestions if asked. Upsell food and beverage menu items where possible, to maximize profit wherever possible.To prepare, clean and clear tables, before, during and after service.Ensuring that all ordered food is announced to guests at the bar.Communicating guest complaints and compliments to management.Communicating guest special occasion to staff/management i.e. anniversaries, birthdays, proposals etc.Be knowledgeable of food and drink menus offered and be able to answer queries and/or offer suggestions if asked.
