An independent veterinary practice in Ely, with over 25 years of history, is on the hunt for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their long-established and close-knit team.This busy practice has built a loyal client base over the years, offering a wide variety of cases and a vibrant, fulfilling workload. The successful candidate will be welcomed into a warm and welcoming environment, supported by a fantastic clinical team who have been part of the practice for many years, contributing to its family-like atmosphere and creating a strong foundation of support and camaraderie.You will be joining the team as a second vet alongside the highly experienced and talented owner and head vet. You will be the sole vet on some days, which provides a fantastic and rare opportunity to really stamp your authority and establish yourself within the practice, enjoying total clinical freedom. Therefore, a passion for client care is essential, as you will be expected to build relationships with the loyal clientele and communicate effectively in a friendly and professional manner. As the role will involve sole charge, the ideal candidate will need at least 3-4 years of experience, strong clinical skills and the ability to make confident decisions. The practice prides itself on providing top-notch care with excellent facilities, including x-ray, ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory, meaning you will have all the tools necessary for thorough diagnostics and comprehensive patient care.
