This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in supporting students within our Hearing Impairment (HI) Unit.Details of the Role:Position: High-Level Teaching Assistant (HI TA)Requirement: BSL qualification or strong proficiencyYou will work closely with our Hearing-Impaired students, providing tailored support to ensure their learning and communication needs are met. Your expertise in British Sign Language will play a key role in creating an inclusive and supportive environment, enabling students to thrive in their education.Key Responsibilities:Supporting students in the HI Unit with learning and communication.Assisting teachers with planning and delivering lessons.Using BSL to facilitate effective communication.Supporting the social and emotional well-being of students.What We’re Looking For:Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an HI Unit.A recognised qualification in BSL (or strong equivalent experience).A genuine passion for working with children with hearing impairments.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
