Cover Supervisor Location: West Kent Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Contract Type: Flexible - Full-time, Part-time, or Day-to-Day Supply About the Role Are you looking to gain classroom experience before pursuing a career in teaching? Or do you have experience working with secondary-aged students and want a flexible role in education? Simply Education is seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across West Kent. As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step into the classroom in the absence of the teacher, delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring students remain engaged with their learning. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and make a real impact in the classroom. Key Responsibilities Deliver pre-set lesson plans across various subjects. Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment. Support students with their learning and encourage participation. Liaise with teaching staff and report on student progress. What We're Looking For Previous experience working with secondary-aged students (e.g., tutoring, coaching, mentoring, or classroom support). Confidence in managing a classroom setting. Strong communication and organisational skills. A passion for education and supporting young people. An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
