What You’ll Do as a Teaching Assistant in Tower Hamlets: Personalized Learning Support: Work with students one-on-one and in small groups to help them reach their full potential.Support IEP Implementation: Assist in developing and carrying out Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.Foster Inclusivity: Partner with teachers to create a classroom environment where every child feels safe, supported, and included.Skill Building: Help students develop critical academic, social, and emotional skills.Monitor Progress: Track student development and provide regular updates to teachers and parents.Classroom Management: Assist in maintaining a positive, well-managed classroom where students can focus on learning. What We’re Looking For: Experience: Prior experience working with children is essential.Empathy & Patience: A kind-hearted, patient, and understanding approach is a must.Strong Communicator: Great communication and teamwork skills are vital.Commitment: A dedication to creating an inclusive learning environment for all students.Desirable Qualifications: Relevant training or qualifications in special education is a plus. A sound understanding of safeguarding and child protection is essential for this role.
