Behaviour Support Assistant | Outstanding Secondary School | BL4 | Temp-to-Perm Role AvailableAre you calm under pressure, confident in your approach, and passionate about supporting young people to thrive?An Outstanding secondary school in BL4 is looking to appoint a Behaviour Support Assistant to join their dedicated pastoral team. This is a full-time position with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.Your Role Will Include: Providing 1:1 and small group support to students who need help managing their behaviour Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff to de-escalate situations and promote positive choices Supporting students with barriers to learning both inside and outside the classroom Acting as a mentor and trusted adult figure to encourage engagement and personal growth What We’re Looking For: Experience working with young people who present challenging behaviour (in schools, youth work, or similar) Strong communication, resilience, and a positive, solution-focused attitude Ability to stay calm and build rapport in fast-paced environments A real passion for helping students reach their potential, no matter the barriers Why Choose This School?
