Do you have the ability to manage behaviour, engage learners, and deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of a teacher?We are seeking a reliable and proactive Cover Supervisor to join a dynamic and supportive secondary school in Harrow. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and looking to gain valuable classroom experience.Key Responsibilities: Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the assigned teacher Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects (no planning or marking required) Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies Support students in staying on task and engaging with the lesson material Provide feedback to the regular class teacher on pupil progress and behaviour Requirements: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths; A-levels or degree desirable Previous experience working with young people (in schools, tutoring, youth work, etc.) Strong classroom presence and excellent communication skills Ability to manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment Flexibility, resilience, and a proactive attitude Why Join Us?
