Marketing Ops & Funnel/Data Builder – Remote (EMEA-friendly hours) – $80,000 USD You love clean dashboards and messy problems. You're half automation wizard, half data detective. The Role Title: Marketing Ops & Funnel/Data Builder Type: Remote, Full-Time Time Zone: Anywhere within ~3–4 hours of Toronto (think Canada, Netherlands, Romania, Poland, Portugal, etc.) Salary: $70,000 USD What You’ll Do Own the full-funnel marketing data layer - from first click to CRM to conversion Build dashboards that actually make sense (think speaker vs speaker, organic vs paid, not 500-row spreadsheets) Design and launch conversion-friendly landing pages (Unbounce, HTML/CSS) Set up and optimise email journeys and segmentation (Customer.io and HubSpot coming soon) Support performance marketing with real insights - not just CPLs Build the tech foundations so creatives and strategists can fly Launch experiments, fix what's broken, and always be iterating Tools & Skills You’ll Need Funnel-building, landing page design (HTML/CSS, Unbounce) Email automation and segmentation (Customer.io, HubSpot) Building dashboards that tell real stories (GA, Looker, Grow) Data literacy + performance marketing metrics Comfort using or experimenting with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney etc.) Bonus Points If You’ve Got: SQL, GA4, Tag Manager, attribution experience Experience in high-volume ad environments (e.g. digital products, education, coaching, thought leadership) Strong eye for layout/design (Photoshop, Canva) Who You Are You crave clarity and kill chaos You don’t panic in the face of a messy CRM or dodgy attribution path - you fix it You think in systems and flows, not hacks and guesses You’re proactive, self-directed, and want to own your lane in a high-performing, remote-first team What You’ll Get Full remote freedom (but you’ll never feel isolated) A smart, no-BS global team that moves fast and thinks big Freedom to experiment and build at the edge of modern digital marketing Direct impact on the company’s growth (and clear recognition for it) A culture that embraces new tech and rapid iteration - especially AI This isn’t a "coast and collect" marketing job.
