Teaching Personnel is proud to partner with an outstanding SEN school in Streatham that supports children aged 4-12 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN).We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their passionate team, delivering high-quality, individualised education to pupils with diverse and complex needs.Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver personalised, sensory-friendly lessons tailored to pupils with ASD, MLD, SLD, and SLCN. Implement evidence-based interventions (e.g., TEACCH, PECS, Makaton) to enhance communication, engagement, and learning. Collaborate with SENCOs, therapists, and support staff to monitor progress and adapt EHCPs. Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment that meets sensory and emotional needs. Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic pupil development. Ideal Candidate Will Have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS, with experience teaching SEN (ASD, MLD, SLD, or SLCN). Strong understanding of SEND Code of Practice, EHCPs, and differentiation strategies. Experience with behaviour support, AAC tools, or multisensory learning (desirable). A patient, adaptable, and innovative approach to teaching. Commitment to continuous professional development in SEN best practices. Why Join This School?
