Science Technician – East London Secondary School Salary: £25,,318 per annum Start Date: June 2025 Contract: PermanentBorough: London Borough of Redbridge Smart Teachers is seeking to appoint a Science Technician to join a highly successful and well-resourced secondary school in Ilford, East London. This is a full-time, term-time only position, ideal for someone with experience in school science labs or a recent science graduate eager to support STEM education.The Role: Support the science department in preparing materials, equipment and chemicals for practical lessons across KS3–KS5. Maintain and manage lab stock, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols (CLEAPSS guidelines). Assist during practicals when required and help ensure the smooth running of science classrooms.
