Marketing Executive - Restaurants. Northland Properties UK are looking for a talented, driven, and enthusiastic Marketing Executive to support the management of our restaurant brands in the UK&I - including Portmarnock Resort, Chop Grill & Bar, Shark Club and our new brand joining our UK&I portfolio - The Tavern Collective.Following over 40 years of success in Canada, Northland Properties brought Canadian hospitality to the UK in 2011, in the form of this portfolio of brands.Northland Properties now operate hotels, resorts, restaurants and bars in Newcastle, London Gatwick, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Sheffield and Portmarnock, near Dublin with further expansion planned into the future. The construction and opening of Sandman Signature Edinburgh Hotel is coming soon.Based in our Newcastle Head Office, our Marketing Executive will have a passion for marketing - with marketing experience in hotels, bars, or restaurants. This role will report into the Regional Director for Marketing UK&I and will support the business with all aspects of marketing across our restaurant portfolio. Specifically in CRM, digital marketing, social media and content marketing.The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the full marketing mix, but will be willing to specialize as our group and team grows. Preferably with a relevant degree or equivalent and a demonstrable passion for marketing and guest experience.Marketing Executive - DutiesSupport the Regional Director of Marketing UK&I to build and deliver the UK&I restaurant marketing planCollaborate with stakeholders to understand briefs for marketing supportBriefing relevant external agencies on upcoming marketing campaigns, events, or projects so they are delivered on time, on budget and to our high standardsCreate outstanding content, including photoshoots, videography and copywritingCreate reports that demonstrate performance of marketing channels using Google Analytics, Meta Insights and CRM Analytical toolsCreate emails, ensuring GDPR compliance and appropriate audience filteringBe a brand custodian across all brands; ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to consistentlyDigital administrative tasks like data formatting, uploads and website or social media updatesManage printed collateral and brief our restaurant management teams Plan and execute VIP visits including internal briefings, complimentary stays, and tours.Other duties as required that fit within the level of this positionEssential Skills & Experience2-4 years in a marketing or similar positionA demonstrably proficient copywriterThe ability to demonstrate the creation of outstanding contentAbility to produce timely, accurate, and visual reports using Google Analytics, Meta or CRM analytical tools.Methods that allow you to manage and priorities competing requests on your timeA good general understanding across the marketing mix; specifically, CRM, PPC, social and Content MarketingDesirable Skills & Experience A marketing degree or equivalentKnowledge of the hospitality industry; specifically, hotels, bars or restaurantsHave a commercial outlook in everything that you doPerson Specification We want you to enjoy your work and have funThe ability to manage positive and collaborative relationships both internally and externallyHave a personal and positive dispositionBe solutions focusedBe able to visit all our locations as regularly as is required.What we can offerWe'll pay for your phone Free parking 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)hybrid workingbonus schemecompetitive salarySUMMATION:Submission of resume does not guarantee an interview or an actual transfer.
