For this role, you will be responsible for the collection and delivery of vehicles using a HGV 6 Car Transporter. Previous experience is essential. Position: HGV Class 2 Car Transporter Driver Days: Monday-Friday (flexible) Start time: 08:00 AM Start date: ASAP Location: Bournemouth Pay Rate: £16.25-17.37 (basic) - £18.21-19.61 (nights) - £20.17-20.73 (weekends) - £25 night-out allowance (for tramping work). Quoted rate is for PAYE advance holiday pay. As a HGV Driver you MUST have: a minimum of 6 months of recent commercial experience a valid UK Class 1 or Class 2 HGV driving licence a valid CPC and digital tachograph card no more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN codes) your own transport to get to and from work As a HGV Driver you will be responsible for: Safely operating HGVs to transport goods to various locations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and customers Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures Benefits: PAYE (weekly) minimum of 8 hours daily pay generous referral scheme temp-perm opportunities free CPC training workplace pension This position is commutable from Southampton, Poole, Salisbury and other areas close to Bournemouth.
