Are you looking for temporary work on an as and when needed basis? If so, this could be the perfect role for you! Driver Hire London South-West is working with a national food supplier, helping them with additional staff when they are going through busy periods or have staff absences. Based in the New Covent Garden Market, our client delivers food produce to schools, restaurants, shops, hotels etc. They are a hardworking, established team, dedicated to providing their clients with a high level of service and a passion for the produce they deliver. They are currently looking for van drivers to join their team to help them meet their client needs when they go through periods of high demand, have staff shortages etc. Their shifts are from 6am – 2pm but these do vary so you need to be flexible with timings. Due to their depot location, parking is not available on site, so candidates should only apply if they are able and willing to use public transport to get there and back. There is some lifting and handling involved with this work so applicants must be willing to help with this. Multi drop delivery experience and good knowledge of London roads is a must here. The pay rate for this job is £13.90 per hour PAYE, including holiday pay.
