Trainee Service Engineer - LondonFAFS Fire & Security specialise in designing, installing, commissioning and servicing automatic Fire Detection, Protection and Alarm Systems in and around Greater London. We are currently looking to appoint a Trainee Service Engineer specifically covering the London region.Basic Salary – subject to experiencePension, Life Assurance & much more. – Please see our generous remuneration packages belowKey Responsibilities You will be required to work alongside a competent Engineer and assist with the following duties. Maintaining fire alarm, Access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems to the highest standards, representing the engineering face of Swift Fire & Security Ltd. Carrying out routine services of fire and intruder alarm systems. Responsible for own geographical area, ensuring deadlines are met and customer expectations exceeded. Provide detailed information to enable accurate quoting of chargeable works. Maintain impeccable conduct and deliver the highest standard of customer service. Required to keep concise and accurate records of work completed. Complete your block weeks at College and maintain a high standard of work in relation to your portfolios. Complete your City & Guilds 2882 Qualification. RequirementsWho We’re Looking For Willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge. Good verbal and written communication skills. Practical, hands-on approach and good manual dexterity. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking ability. Good timekeeping and organisational skills. Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team. Basic IT skills (e.g., using tablets/mobile phone for reports and documentation. Positive attitude and commitment to a long-term career in the fire safety industry.
