Senior Development Manager Location: Canary Wharf Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience Salter Grange is currently partnered with a forward-thinking and award-winning property development company to recruit a Senior Development Manager to join their team to lead on the delivery of a project.This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing a development from early-stage planning through to delivery and handover. Success in this role hinges on your ability to manage multiple stakeholders, navigate complex planning processes, communicate clearly across departments and partners, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.Key responsibilities:Oversee full project lifecycle: from brief preparation to planning approval, construction, and final handoverDevelop robust development programmes and drive project teams to meet strategic goalsBuild and manage multidisciplinary internal teams and coordinate external consultantsLead negotiations with local authorities, planning consultants, and other third partiesManage and nurture key relationships with joint venture partners, ensuring alignment and transparency throughoutRegularly report on development appraisals, risks, costs, and delivery progress to internal leadershipWhat we’re looking for:Previous experience working within a Tier 1 property developerStrong understanding of the UK planning system and development processesDemonstrable experience in leading large-scale projects and managing multiple third-party stakeholdersExcellent communication skills with the ability to lead and coordinate internal and external teamsExperience working within joint venture structures, with a solid grasp of governance and partner relationsCommercial awareness and experience with financial planning, programme management, and construction interfacesTo be considered for this opportunity, please apply now with your most up to date CV.
