Job DescriptionWe’re recruiting for a Non-Financial – Conduct Risk Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will support the Conduct and Operational Risk Managers in the monitoring and oversight of conduct risk across Retail and Institutional Retirement. You’ll provide independent risk advice and guidance to the business, deliver effective 2nd line challenge and provide oversight of frameworks, policies and processes, enabling relevant areas to operate in accordance with regulatory standards, industry best practice and applicable Group standards.What you'll be doing:Advising on conduct and operational risk for new projects, products, and services, influencing where necessary to ensure they deliver good customer outcomes and stay within risk appetitesSupporting the management of non-financial risk frameworks, providing second line oversight to manage risks effectivelyPreparing and distributing risk reports and MI packs, ensuring clear visibility of risks, and tracking actions to completionChallenging the business on their management of conduct and operational risks, conducting risk and control assessments and spotlight reviews to ensure policies and processes are improvedAnalysing regulatory changes and advising the business on their impacts, contributing to consultations and implementationOverseeing responses to significant risk events, ensuring objective challenge, root cause analysis, and proactive management
