Key Responsibilities for the Project Building Surveyor: Project Delivery: Oversee projects from inception to completion, including feasibility assessments, procurement, contract administration, and ensuring timely quality deliverables. Client Liaison: Serve as the key point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, providing regular updates, and managing expectations effectively. Compliance & Documentation: Coordinate with relevant authorities on building regulations, planning, and listed building applications, ensuring all required documentation is thorough and compliant. Team Support: Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace. Qualifications & Experience Education: Degree in Building Surveying or related field; MRICS qualification is not essential. Experience: 5 years of post-degree experience, with strong building surveying and project management skills across diverse project values. Industry Knowledge: Previous experience with public sector housing and education projects is beneficial, with commercial experience as a plus.
