Head of SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality)Location: SwadlincoteFull-Time | Days-Based Role | £50,000 - £55,000 per annum Are you a seasoned SHEQ professional ready to take the lead in shaping and driving safety, environmental, and quality performance? We're looking for a proactive and experienced Head of SHEQ to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business in Swadlincote. This is a days-based role offering a competitive salary and a genuine opportunity to make an impact across the business. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all aspects of SHEQ, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. Develop and maintain ISO-accredited management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001). Promote a strong safety culture through training, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and drive root cause analysis. Liaise with external bodies and regulatory agencies as required. Provide leadership and guidance across all departments to embed SHEQ best practices into daily operations. What We're Looking For: Proven experience in a senior SHEQ role within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments. Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation, environmental regulations, and quality management systems. NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (essential); membership of IOSH or IEMA advantageous. Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills. Hands-on, solutions-focused approach and confident in driving change. What's on Offer: £50,000 - £55,000 salary, depending on experience.
