Volkswagen Trained Technician Required – Independent Volkswagen and Audi Specialist in Orpington, South LondonHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (1 hour lunch)Location: Orpington, South LondonSalary: £32,000 - £40,000 Basic DOEDesirable: Experience with T5, T6, and T7 modelsOur client, a well-established independent Volkswagen and Audi Specialist Repairing Garage based in Orpington, is seeking a skilled Volkswagen Trained Technician to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technician with a passion for Volkswagen vehicles, particularly T5, T6, and T7 models, to contribute to a busy and dynamic workshop. We’re proactively looking for the right candidate to support our senior technician team as part of our growth and succession planning. If you’re a vehicle technician with expertise in Volkswagen diagnostics, repairs, and servicing, and you’re ready to work hands-on in a specialist environment, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities of the Volkswagen Trained Technician:Perform diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on Volkswagen and Audi vehicles, with a focus on T5, T6, and T7 modelsStrip down, clean, and rebuild components, including engines and transmissionsInstall and test reconditioned parts, ensuring high standards of mechanical integrityDiagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and ancillary faultsCommunicate with customers, providing technical expertise and excellent serviceCover office duties during breaks or absences, maintaining a professional customer-facing approachAdapt to evolving needs, including expanding knowledge of modern Volkswagen modelsRequirements:Proven experience as a Volkswagen-trained technician, ideally with expertise in T5, T6, and T7 modelsStrong knowledge of Volkswagen and Audi diagnostic systems and repair techniquesAbility to perform engine fitting, component machining, or general servicingConfident communication skills for customer interactions and technical supportExperience with VW dealer background is a plus; willingness to train and learn is highly valuedFull UK Driving LicenceBased in or able to commute to the Orpington areaComfortable with a structured workday, including set tea breaks and lunch with the teamWhy Apply?Competitive salary of £32k - £40k DOEWork in a specialist Volkswagen and Audi environment with a strong reputationBe part of a small, skilled, and flexible team where your expertise is valuedEnjoy a structured 5-day week (8am-5pm) with a collaborative team flowOpportunity to grow with a company expanding, with training support availableIf you’re passionate about Volkswagen vehicles, skilled in diagnostics and repairs, and ready to join a team that values craftsmanship and technical excellence, don’t miss this chance.
