The Business Development Executive is a mid-level sales and strategic role focused on driving revenue growth and expanding the organisation's market presence. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and converting leads into long-term partnerships. The Business Development Executive plays a vital role in generating revenue whilst ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.This role offers a base salary of £ 37,500–£ 40,000, with a realistic OTE of £ 60,000–£ 65,000+ through an uncapped commission structure.This role is open to UK-based candidates only. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship at this time.Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Prospecting: Take full ownership of outbound lead generation, including cold email outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, and targeted outreach campaigns. This role requires actively building your own pipeline in addition to following up on inbound leads and marketing-driven contacts. Identify potential business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry events. Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads using CRM tools and prospecting platforms. Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations. Client Engagement: Conduct outreach via email, phone calls, and meetings to present the organization’s products or services. Understand client needs and pain points to tailor solutions and provide value-added insights. Schedule and conduct product demos, presentations, or discussions with potential clients. Develop relationships with ServiceNow Account Executives and leverage the ServiceNow ecosystem to identify and engage new opportunities. Sales & Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategies to convert leads into sales and close new business deals. Negotiate contracts and pricing to achieve mutually beneficial agreements. Work towards achieving or exceeding individual and team sales targets. Market Research & Strategy: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities. Provide insights and recommendations to the sales and marketing teams for targeting potential clients. Contribute to the development of go-to-market strategies for new products or services. Collaboration & Reporting: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, account management, and product development, to ensure seamless onboarding and customer success. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system. Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to management. Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite. Analytical and research skills to identify market opportunities and trends. Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple prospects and deadlines. 3. Experience: 2-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field. Prior experience in a B2B SaaS environment is highly desirable. Proven experience driving pipeline growth through self-sourced outbound activity — not reliant on inbound leads; hunter mindset is essential. Comfortable working in a lean, entrepreneurial sales environment with limited inbound flow.
