We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Enfield to assist with the appointment of a Community Adaptations Officer , on a 1.5-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay: £15.06 - £19.16 per hour Summary: The Community Adaptations Officer provides technical and administrative support for community-based equipment and adaptations services. This role is central in delivering high-quality, customer-focused services to residents, working collaboratively with internal teams, contractors, and external partners to ensure timely and effective support for residents' needs, especially those with disabilities. Responsibilities: Provide advice and guidance to customers, delivering excellent service and maintaining a professional imageRespond to technical and procedural enquiries, resolve issues and maintain audit trailsManage and validate applications, ensuring correct documentation and fee collectionLiaise with internal departments and external agencies to exchange information and provide supportMaintain accurate databases and records; follow document retention policies. Requirements: Experience working in an administrative or technical support roleExperience in a social care or health settingStrong organisational and planning skills; able to meet deadlinesProficient in Microsoft Office and data management systemsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to manage competing demands and prioritise workComfortable working in partnership with professionals and external stakeholdersAbility to work flexibly, including off-site and extended hours as required.
