Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Twickenham, SW London Salary: £55,000 to £70,000 Package: car or car allowance, car/car allowance, 25 days leave + bank holidays, contributory pension, life assurance, healthcare, cycle to work scheme & hybrid working.A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering a framework for a water provider in South West London. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the commercial management of a portfolio of projects across the region which service 15 million customers with both clean and wastewater services.Some of the Senior Quantity Surveyors key responsibilities will include: Working closely with the design, construction and supply chain teams to capture, analyse and control project costs Work closely with the client to ensure expectations are met Work closely with the supply chain to ensure work is delivered to specification, within budget and on time Preparation and issue of relevant contract documentation Subcontract management covering procurement through to final account negotiation Preparation of project cost & value reports, budgets and forecasts Assist with the development of junior commercial staff Ensure yuor own continuous professional development The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor can expect a rewarding career that includes the opportunity to manage and develop your own portfolio of projects, building your own commercial team, hybrid working, continued CPD, no glass ceilings limiting your progression and a generous salary and package that includes: Starting salary of £55,000 to £70,000 Company car or car allowance 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Contributory pension Private healthcare Life assurance Cycle to work scheme High street discount vouchers Senior Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity must have experience working within the utilities or infrastructure sectors for a main contractor alongside an in-depth understanding of the NEC suite of contracts.
