Football knowledge is not required, so if you thrive being in an energetic and fun environment you’ll quickly fall in love with our concept!Job Highlights:Location: London based Reports to:CPO Contract Length: Fixed Term, 10 months (open to discussion)We are looking for an experienced, people-focused Senior People & Culture Manager to join our Global People & Culture team and play a key role in enhancing the teammate experience across all touchpoints of the employment lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who blends operational expertise with a process-driven mindset and is passionate about creating exceptional teammate experiences.As the first point of contact for the UK corporate support team and the point of escalation for all UK venue-based teammates, this role will be pivotal in ensuring the effective execution of people practices and processes, driving engagement, embedding culture, and partnering with stakeholders to support TOCA’s continued growth. Role Scope & Responsibilities: Recruitment Oversee the recruitment process from job requisitions to hiring, offering support and guidance for business-critical roles Support with conducting final stage interviews for business-critical roles and create a pipeline of future hires that align with the Team Philosophy Support stakeholders in achieving their recruitment KPIs (e.g. Time to Fill, Cost-Per-Hire, etc.) and provide regular insights to their progress Pro-actively coordinate with corporate Hiring Managers and department leaders to forecast future hiring needs Coach hiring managers with tools, training, and resources to enhance hiring quality Onboarding & Offboarding Work closely with the People Operations team to ensure offers and contracts are completed within a timely manner, ensuring the business remains compliant and in-house processes are adhered to Ensure seamless and consistent execution of TOCA’s overall onboarding and offboarding programs and procedures in the teammate experience, ensuring stakeholders understand and are empowered to champion this to ensure teammates have the information, tools and resources to have a successful journey at TOCA Report, analyse and improve exit survey data and participation, to proactively enhance the teammate experience Culture Implement the global engagement strategy in partnership with stakeholders to foster a positive and inclusive culture that creates a sense of belonging Pro-actively and regularly review retention and turnover trends; consistently work with stakeholders to diagnose underlying reasons for turnover and proposes creative solutions Analyse all HR trends and metrics in partnership with stakeholders to identify opportunities for action and to drive improvement Advocates and champions the service profit chain, ensuring that stakeholders understand and practise this model in everything they do. Using this framework to drive business results through the teammate experience and data (e.g. mystery diner reports and google reviews) Learning & Development Identify local learning needs through performance trends and support the creation of tailored solutions with the L&D team Work closely with the wider Global team to implement career pathways and succession plans off the back of local talent reviews, to increase the number of internal promotions across the business Seamlessly execute the performance review process and engage with leaders to help them provide effective feedback. Facilitate talent reviews with the required stakeholder groups, ensuring proactive resources and communications are provided to the business in advance Teammate Relations Ensure TOCA remains compliant with local laws and regulations, as well as TOCA’s own in-house policy guidelines Provide expert guidance to leaders on complex people-related matters, including performance management, restructures, grievances, and investigations Coach and guide stakeholders in managing teammate relation issues and people practices (e.g. grievances, disciplinary and investigations). Escalate any issues to the CPO within a timely manner as required Identify trends and patterns to create a plan that empowers stakeholders to effectively lead their team whilst improving the teammate experience Compliance, Documentation & Systems Ensure all employment documentation and records for your region, ensuring data protection is always adhered to (e.g. new hires, variations, terminations, references etc) Maintain the teammate handbook, policies and toolkits, ensuring it is continuously evolving, up to date and equitable (in partnership with People Operations) Work closely with the wider Global People & Culture team to ensure data and system information is accurate and accessible Ensure stakeholders within your region are knowledgeable and have access to the correct people processes Ensure all reports and KPI resources are consistently communicated across relevant stakeholder groups and ensure a proactive approach in ensuring all processes are adhered to Project Management Working cross-functionally with all People & Culture experts to create and implement people practices across the business Start to end ownership of ad-hoc projects to enhance the teammate experience Qualifications & Experience: 5 years’ experience as a HR Manager or Business Partner, or relevant experience Passion for people; the ability to truly empathize with individuals and strong emotional intelligence Strong knowledge of employment laws & regulations Process driven, with the ability to apply best practices in a reactive operational environment Willing to travel and remain flexible with working hours, dependent on business needs Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills Experience working in the hospitality, retail or leisure industry is preferred Strong experience in leading a team
