SANZA Teaching Agency is currently working with a number of great primary schools across the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham. They are seeking learning support assistants for several positions starting in September 2025!
As a learning support assistant, you will:
Work closely with primary aged students who have a diagnosis of Autism
Provide dedicated support in class, helping students access learning materials
Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson materials and ensure they are accessible for the student
Encourage social interaction
Work closely with the school's inclusion team to implement individual strategies for the student's development
Work with small groups of students delivering targeted interventions
Work 1:1 with students as required
ABOUT YOU
The successful learning support assistant will ideally have a university degree and/or previous experience in an educational or special needs background.
Key skills and experience needed:
Experienced or aspiring teacher, SEN teaching assistant or learning support assistant
Understanding of Autism
Strong behaviour management
Professional manor
Enthusiasm and friendly approach
To be fun and creative
