Job Title: Business AnalystLocation: London (Hybrid Remote)Salary/Rate: £325 Daily Rate (Inside IR35)Start Date: 30/06/2025Job Type: ContractWe have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst with extensive experience in the Non-Life Insurance domain, primarily serving the London Insurance Market. Proven expertise in translating business needs into functional and technical deliverables, with a strong grasp of Specialty Lines (Marine, Personal Lines), Lloyd's compliance, and end-to-end policy lifecycle. Adept at liaising between cross-functional stakeholders, gathering and analysing requirements, and working with platforms such as PPL, PAS (Majesco, Duck Creek), UW Workbench, DCOM, and XIS. Experienced in redesigning and optimising workflows through As-Is/To-Be process modelling and aligning solutions with market modernisation programs such as Blueprint Two.Job Responsibilities/Objectives * Strong skills: Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), Data Mapping Sheets, Process Maps * Sound understanding of specialty insurance domain: Marine Cargo, Liability, Personal Lines, and systems including PPL, Policy Admin system (PAS), UW workbench, DMS, XIS etc * End-to-end stakeholder engagement and facilitation of workshops, group interviews, and focus sessions * Experience workings with MGAs, Coverholders, and Delegated Authority (DA) structures * Strong background in Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall SDLC methodologies, with Hands-on requirement elicitation, GAP analysis, SWOT analysis, and stakeholder workshops * Experienced in delivering regulatory and operational solutions in alignment with Lloyd's and FCA standards * Familiarity with London Market systems and data standards: PPL, DCOM, CDR, XIS, IMR, ECF, MRC v3 * Deep understanding of both business and technical sides of insurance workflows * Proficient in UAT planning, test scenario creation, and coordination with QA teams for defect triage and resolution.
