X2 Mechanical Engineer – FM Service Provider – Peckham, London – Temp to perm – Immediate Start CBW is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to carry out maintenance in a commercial building located near Peckham. This is an ongoing temporary role with the potential to become temp to perm. The successful candidate must be mechanically qualified with a strong track record in commercial building maintenance. Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesExperience working with hot water and heating systemsFire alarm and sprinkler testingAHUs/FCUs – filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleaningPumps – PPMs and strip downs (e.g. replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)Motors – PPMs (e.g. re-winds, overhauls)Water treatment – dipslides, pH & temperature testingWater pressurisation unitsCalorifiers – annual inspection, descalingCooling towersBoilers – resetsChillers – resets and first-line faultsBasic plumbing – e.g. unblocking toiletsHours of WorkMonday to Friday08:00am – 17:00pmOngoing temporary contract (temp to perm)£24 per hourRequirementsMechanically qualified to Level 2 or equivalentProven experience in commercial building maintenanceComfortable working independently in a single-man buildingPositive, proactive attitudeMulti-skilled approachGood communication and client-facing skillsTo apply, please send your CV to Katie Ferrari at CBW Staffing Solutions today to avoid missing out on this excellent opportunity.
