Join Our Team of Expert Tutors – QTS Required | Flexible, Rewarding, ImpactfulAre you a qualified teacher looking for a flexible, meaningful role outside the classroom? We’re seeking passionate QTS tutors to support learners across Islington. We work closely with local authorities, schools, and virtual schools to deliver high-quality education to students who may be out of mainstream school, need catch-up support, or require a more personalised learning approach. Most sessions take place during school hours (9am–3pm), Monday to Friday. Your Role Deliver engaging, personalised tuition in core subjectsAdapt lessons to meet each learner’s needs, pace, and abilityTrack and report progress, attendance, and engagement using our platformCommunicate with parents/carers, schools, and our team to ensure consistent supportEnsure safeguarding and student well-being are central to every sessionOffer tuition online or face-to-face, based on student needs and your availability SEN/SEMH Experience ValuedMany of our learners have Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.We welcome tutors who Have experience working with SEN/SEMH learnersUse patience, empathy, and flexibility to build trust and engagementCan adapt teaching strategies to suit a wide range of needsAre confident in managing behaviour in 1:1 or small group settings We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Strong subject knowledge and curriculum experienceConfident working with school-aged learners (KS1–KS5)Understanding of differentiated teaching and inclusive practiceStrong communication and organisation skillsEnhanced DBS on the Update Service What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate: £25–£30 PAYE, paid weekly Flexible working hours Access to CPD training Ongoing support from a Specialist Recruitment ConsultantAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
