Teaching Assistants required in Orpington Locations: Orpington Start Dates: June 2025, September 2025 Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for passionate and driven Teaching Assistants (TA's) to make a positive impact in the schools we work with across Orpington. Opportunities range from daily supply work to working full / part-time, long-term positions across EYFS - KS2. The TA positions that we recruit for are as follows: EYFS TA: Support young children's development in early years settings by fostering a safe, nurturing environment that encourages learning through play, while promoting communication and motor skill development. Special Educational Needs (SEN) TA: Deliver one-to-one support to pupils with special educational needs, implementing personalised strategies to enhance their academic achievement and emotional resilience. Collaborative Approach: Worked closely with teachers and support staff to deliver consistent, high-quality educational support tailored to individual and class needs. Individual and Small Group Support: Provided targeted interventions for pupils with additional needs-including autism, ADHD, and speech and language challenges-helping to boost confidence and accelerate progress. Whole-Class Learning Support: Assisted pupils across the curriculum and all year groups, from Nursery to Year 6, adapting support to meet a variety of learning needs. Behaviour Support: Promoted positive behaviour and emotional well-being, reinforcing school expectations and helping to create a respectful, inclusive atmosphere. Lesson and Classroom Preparation: Helped prepare teaching materials, set up engaging classroom activities, and maintained interactive displays to enhance the learning environment. ________________________________________ Requirements: Enhanced DBS Check - The safety and well-being of our students are paramount, and an enhanced DBS check is essential. 10-Year Employment Check - We require candidates to provide a 10-year employment history to ensure the safety and security of our school community.
