CNC Recruitment is excited to be working with our client in Chard to find a skilled Quality Inspector to join their team on a permanent basis. Due to an increase in order levels, this is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing company. Location – ChardJob type – Temporary with the potential to go Permanent Working hours – Monday to Friday, day shift, offering a 5-day, 39-hour working week.Salary – up to £16, depending on experience Key Responsibilities: Conduct precise inspections on machined components within the inspection department. Perform both first-off and audit inspections using hand-held measurement tools such as Faro Arm, Height Gauges, Verniers, and Shadow Graphs. Assist in managing initial rejection processes, segregation, and containment actions. Collaborate with production staff to resolve any inspection-related issues. Requirements A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality. CMM experience is preferred, though training will be provided for the right candidate. Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment. Proficiency with basic inspection tools and equipment. Good computer and IT skills. Quick to learn new tasks and demonstrate excellent skill retention. A team-oriented approach and ability to work collaboratively. INDBLUE
