Lead Architect – Education & High-Rise Residential Location: London, Clerkenwell / or KentSalary: £50,000 - £58,000 The Role Join an established AJ100 UK Architecture Practice! We're looking for an experienced Lead Architect to take the reins on a range of Education and/or High-Rise Residential projects from our offices in Kent, or Clerkenwell. This role is ideal for a Senior Architect, or Lead Architect with 3–4 years’ experience leading project teams, from concept design through delivery, within a collaborative and design-led studio. Key ResponsibilitiesLead multi-disciplinary teams on education or high-density residential schemesOversee design development, technical detailing, and documentation (RIBA Stages 2–6)Coordinate BIM workflows and model management using ArchiCAD and/or RevitAct as client point-of-contact and support project reporting, deadlines, and quality controlMentor junior staff and contribute to internal best practice initiatives What You’ll BringARB/RIBA qualified with UK project delivery experienceMinimum 3–4 years in a project leadership or job-running roleStrong portfolio across education and/or high-rise residential sectorsProficient in ArchiCAD and/or RevitConfident communicator with strong knowledge of UK building regulations BenefitsFlexible/hybrid working optionsCareer development support and structured CPDInvolvement in high-impact, design-led projects nationwide
