SEN Teaching Assistant – Performing Arts College | Walthamstow Location: WalthamstowStart Date: ImmediateContract: Full-time, Term-TimePay: £83–£95 per day (PAYE – no umbrella faff) Looking for a role where no two days are the same, and creativity is part of the curriculum?We’re working with a fantastic performing arts college in Walthamstow that’s looking for a compassionate and confident SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with additional needs—both 1:1 and in small groups. If you’ve got a good handle on safeguarding and EHCPs, this could be your next great fit.What you'll be doing: Providing 1:1 and group support for students with SEND Helping learners engage with performing arts-based activities Working closely with SENCOs and teachers to follow EHCP targets Creating a calm, encouraging space where students feel safe to express themselves The ideal candidate will: Have experience supporting young people with SEND Understand the importance of safeguarding and EHCPs Stay calm under pressure and know how to de-escalate with empathy Be ready to get stuck into a vibrant, expressive environment Why join Protocol Education?
