We’re looking for a Sales Executive to join our dynamic team at now>press>play. Our immersive story-led experiences connect primary school children to their learning through sound, storytelling, and movement - and you’ll be at the forefront of expanding our reach.This role is perfect for a self-motivated, entrepreneurial individual who excels at building relationships and identifying opportunities. You’ll play a critical role in driving growth, generating new business, and collaborating with internal teams to exceed targets. RequirementsKey Responsibilities Respond and qualify inbound enquiries via phone and email. Deliver engaging product walkthroughs tailored to Heads, Subject Leads, and MAT/LEA leaders. Book and manage trials, monitor usage, and keep stakeholders aligned. Negotiate and close deals, present pricing, handle objections, issue quotes and secure subscriptions to beat termly targets. Research and generate new business opportunities. Own your pipeline, keep detailed CRM records, forecast accurately, and share insights on lead quality and win/loss trends. Work in collaboration with Ops, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product and feedback. Attend events and showcases to build awareness and generate new leads. What We’re Looking For A passion for education and making a real difference! Experience in sales and demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding targets. Confident communicator over video, phone and email, and excellent written communication. Strong discovery, demo, and negotiation skills Experience with CRMs or at least the ability to learn new software quickly. Highly organised, self-motivated, data-driven. Nice to Have (but not essential!) Experience selling to UK primary schools or MATs Knowledge of the UK education sector and key decision-makers in schools Familiarity with the primary curriculum & EdTech landscape Formal training in consultative or solution-selling A Day in the Life… Quick stand-up with Marketing & Customer Success. Run two scheduled discovery + walkthrough sessions for qualified schools Analyse yesterday’s trial usage stats; spot a school with low engagement and coordinate a teacher check-in. Update forecast in CRM; drill in and reprioritise two MAT accounts. Build slides for monthly metrics meeting. Successfully negotiate an end of trial and celebrate the win with the team! Interview Process Video Task: You will prepare and submit a short video that tells us a bit about you, and why you want to work with us. Zoom: 60-minute video call to discuss the role, answer your questions and gain insights into your experiences and motivations. Final Interview: Before the interview, we'll send you a task to complete. You will be given 10 minutes to talk through your task and receive feedback.
