SEN Teaching Assistants - Secondary Schools - Islington Location: Islington, North London Full-Time | Term-Time Only £90-£105 per day (based on experience) Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? We are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a number of welcoming and inclusive secondary schools in Islington. These roles are ideal for graduates or support staff looking to develop their skills in the SEN field. You'll work alongside experienced SENCOs and teaching staff to provide essential learning and emotional support for pupils who require extra guidance to thrive in a mainstream setting. Key Responsibilities: Supporting students with EHCPs on a 1:1 and small group basis Helping to manage classroom behaviour and engagement Adapting learning materials for individual needs Assisting with social, emotional and sensory support Collaborating with staff and external professionals You'll Need: A passion for inclusion and helping young people reach their potential Experience supporting students (formally or informally) Patience, resilience and empathy Willingness to learn and take direction from SEN specialists Why Join?
