The Role – Graduate Teaching AssistantAs a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group support to students who require additional academic or emotional guidance.Assist in delivering engaging lessons, particularly in your subject specialism (e.g. Maths, Science, English, Humanities).Help students improve their academic performance, build confidence, and prepare for assessments.Promote classroom participation, resilience, and independent learning.Prepare learning materials and contribute to a well-organised and inclusive classroom environment.Work closely with SEN and pastoral teams to ensure all students receive tailored support. What We’re Looking ForWe’re keen to hear from graduates who are: Educated to degree level (2:1 or above) in a core subject or a related field.Academically strong, with solid GCSEs and A-Level results.Passionate about supporting young people and making a positive impact in education.Confident communicators with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.Adaptable, empathetic, and proactive in encouraging student development.Interested in a long-term career in education—whether teaching, mentoring, or academic support.
