All lesson materials are provided – your role is to deliver and supervise learning in a calm, engaging environment.✅ What You’ll Be Doing: Lead and supervise classes when the teacher is absent.Deliver pre-prepared lessons – no planning or qualifications needed!Keep pupils focused and on task throughout the day.Promote good behaviour and support positive learning outcomes.Offer assistance to pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) as required.Maintain a safe, tidy and well-organised classroom.Provide feedback to teaching staff about the lesson or any issues. We’re Looking For: Fluent Welsh speaker (essential).Confident communicator with a calm, approachable attitude.Good classroom or group management skills.Adaptable and dependable with a genuine passion for education.Awareness of safeguarding and child protection (full training provided). Ideal for People Who: Are on a gap year and want to gain hands-on experience.Are considering a career change and exploring education.Have coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or youth work experience.Are Welsh-speaking students or graduates looking for flexible work.Want classroom experience before pursuing teacher training or PGCE. What You Need: Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (we can support you with this).EWC (Education Workforce Council) registration – guidance provided.Two professional references.Ability to travel to schools in the Cardiff area.
