Job DescriptionDo you have experience working with Defined Benefit Pension schemes? Are you looking to take on a senior role within a dynamic team? If so, join us as a Senior Operational Support Consultant. In this role you will apply your expertise to maintain scheme data, administer and update individual member records, and handle all aspects of customer claims work. You will also have the opportunity to support complex benefit structures and provide technical expertise to both ongoing and new schemes.This a hybrid working opportunity, which means that you can work flexibly between our central Glasgow Office and your home, to find a work-life balance that works for you.What you'll be doing:Providing efficient administration and claims services to scheme members, Trustees, and intermediariesCalculating individual Defined Benefits quotations from various schemesDesigning and issuing non-standard communications tailored to customer needsImplementing effective Quality Checking to ensure accurate benefit calculationsActing as an SME and technical expert for the teamDesigning and implementing training regimes focused on fair treatment and good customer outcomesFacilitating additional necessary activities such as valuations, data updates, and bulk transfersManaging the end-to-end onboarding process of new DB Pension schemes
