A friendly and inclusive primary school in Newham is seeking a dedicated teacher to join their Key Stage 1 team and help young learners flourish in their crucial early years of education.About the School: Situated in a vibrant, multicultural area of East London Warm and supportive leadership team A strong emphasis on early literacy and numeracy Well-resourced classrooms and committed teaching assistants Focused on providing a rich and engaging curriculum tailored to young learners The Role: Full-time class teacher for Year 1 or Year 2 (depending on your experience and preference) Delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons that support phonics, early maths, and wider KS1 learning Working collaboratively with phase leaders and support staff Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching to support all learners The Ideal Candidate Will Have: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (Year 1 or Year 2) A strong grasp of the KS1 curriculum, including phonics (e.g., Little Wandle, Read Write Inc.) A nurturing and positive approach to classroom management High expectations for all pupils and a belief in every child’s potential Why Apply?
