Senior Fire Engineer – Property Risk Management Consultancy | Up to £95,000 Package | 95% WFH We’re delighted to be supporting a well-established property risk management consultancy, respected for their expertise in fire safety and building compliance, as they look to appoint an experienced Senior Fire Engineer to join their team. This is a permanent position offering up to £95,000 total package, including a company car and a comprehensive benefits package. The role offers 95% working from home, with occasional travel to the London office and project sites across the UK. About the Role As a Senior Fire Engineer, you’ll take the lead on developing fire strategies, advising on compliance, and conducting risk assessments for a broad mix of residential and commercial buildings. You’ll work closely with clients, design teams, and regulatory authorities, helping to deliver practical, safe, and compliant solutions that protect life and property. Key ResponsibilitiesProduce fire strategy reports (new build and retrospective)Develop fire safety management plansAdvise on fire detection, containment, and evacuation systemsConduct inspections, audits, and site visitsInterpret and apply ADB, BS 9991, BS 9999 and other relevant codesProvide expert guidance to clients, consultants and internal teamsSupport junior engineers and contribute to technical leadershipDeliver projects on time, within budget and to the highest technical standardsWhat We’re Looking ForMIFireE or working towardsBEng, BSc, or MSc in Fire Engineering or Fire SafetyMinimum 4 years’ experience in fire consultancyProven record of producing detailed fire strategies across sectorsStrong knowledge of UK legislation, codes and best practiceExcellent stakeholder engagement, report writing and project leadership skillsWhy Join This Consultancy?
