It's this global reach and innovation that sets us apart.We’re looking for an IT Vendor Manager to oversee our strategic vendor relationships and ensure that third-party technology and service providers deliver exceptional performance and value. This role is vital to our operational resilience and growth, requiring a strong focus on governance, negotiation, compliance, and service excellence. If you bring deep experience in vendor governance, SLA monitoring, and stakeholder engagement within high-availability environments, we want to hear from you.What you get to do:: Vendor Performance & SLA ManagementDefine and track key vendor SLAs, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs, proactively identifying risks and issues.Ensure vendors provide root cause analysis and remediation plans for SLA breaches or service incidents.Work with internal teams to escalate vendor-related issues and drive improvements.Governance & Relationship ManagementDevelop and maintain a comprehensive vendor governance framework to ensure delivery of high-quality outcomes through effective engagement.Serve as the primary point of contact for key vendors, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring service alignment with business needs.Lead Monthly Service Reviews (MSRs) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to assess vendor performance, service improvements, and future roadmaps.Ensure vendors provide regular operational and compliance reports as per agreements.Hold vendors accountable for continuous service improvements and innovation.Commercial & Contract ManagementWork closely with Legal and Finance teams to review, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts and renewals.Assess contractual risk, costs, and value-add opportunities, ensuring commercial efficiency.Support budget planning and cost optimization strategies for vendor services.Track vendor spend and ensure alignment with financial goals.Risk & Compliance ManagementEnsure vendors comply with regulatory, security, and data protection requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001).Conduct regular vendor risk assessments and monitor any security or compliance concerns.Partner with Security and Compliance teams to ensure third-party risk is actively managed.Collaboration & ReportingWork closely with Service Management, Technology, and Finance teams to align vendor strategy with operational goals.Provide regular vendor performance reports, cost analysis, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.Identify and drive process improvements to optimize vendor service quality and delivery.What you can look forward to:: At Paymentology, it’s not just about building great payment technology, it’s about building a company where people feel they belong and their work matters. Whether you’re working across time zones or getting involved in initiatives that support local communities, you’ll find real purpose in your work - and the freedom to grow in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.Travel: < 10% What it takes to succeed:5+ years of experience in vendor management, supplier governance, or procurement within a technology-driven environment.Experience in ITIL Service Management processes.Strong background in managing third-party vendors in mission-critical, high-availability services (preferably in FinTech or payments).Experience defining, tracking, and enforcing vendor SLAs and performance metrics.Strong commercial acumen and experience in contract negotiation, cost optimization, and risk assessment.Ability to lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and drive service improvements.Understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to vendor management (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001).Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to assess vendor performance and impact.Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred (e.g., Information Technology, Business, Engineering).Familiarity with financial planning and vendor budgeting is a plus.Knowledge of third-party risk management frameworks.Experience working with legal teams on complex vendor contracts.
