About the Role:
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene. You will lead and inspire a small team, develop menus using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, and maintain consistency in all dishes served.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead the kitchen team effectively
Create innovative, seasonal menus that highlight local produce
Maintain strict health and safety standards
Control food costs and manage stock levels
Ensure consistent food quality and presentation
Train and mentor kitchen staff to develop their skills
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience at Head Chef level
Strong leadership and communication skills
Passion for high-quality food and creativity in the kitchen
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Commitment to maintaining excellent standards
