Job Title: Technical Event Manager – Life Sciences & Pharma IndustryLocation: RemoteJob Type: ContractTravel: (Domestic & International)Position Summary:We’re hiring a Technical Event Manager with a proven track record in delivering complex, high-impact events in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector. This role is responsible for overseeing the technical planning, execution, and support of live, virtual, and hybrid events—including medical congresses, scientific symposia, and exhibition booths.You will manage everything from AV production and digital platforms to booth installations and compliance-aligned content delivery, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Lead technical planning and onsite execution of pharma conferences, global congresses, trade shows, and HCP eventsOversee exhibit booth builds, integrating audio/visual elements, touchscreens, demos, and other interactive technologiesManage livestreaming, virtual platforms, and hybrid event technologies (e.g., Zoom, Cvent, ON24, vFairs)Coordinate with internal teams (medical, regulatory, marketing) and external partners (vendors, agencies, production crews)Ensure all content, technology, and onsite activations meet industry compliance standards (e.g., PhRMA, FDA, EFPIA)Monitor live event performance and troubleshoot technical issues in real-timeTrack budgets, timelines, and logistics across multiple concurrent eventsQualifications:3+ years of experience in technical event production or event operations within pharma, biotech, or healthcareIn-depth knowledge of AV/IT systems, virtual platforms, and interactive exhibit technologiesStrong understanding of pharma compliance and HCP interaction guidelinesExcellent project management, vendor coordination, and problem-solving skillsAbility to travel and support onsite execution at domestic and international eventsPreferred Experience:Hands-on experience with major medical congresses (e.g., ASCO, ESMO, AHA, RSNA)Familiarity with Veeva, Salesforce, or other regulated life science platformsBackground in scientific communications, healthcare marketing, or medical education eventsExperience supporting advisory boards, investigator meetings, or product launches Technical Event Manager, Pharma Events, Life Sciences, Medical Congresses, AV Production, Virtual Events, Hybrid Events, HCP Engagement, Booth Management, Scientific Meetings, Healthcare Event Logistics, Event Compliance, Trade Show Production, Cvent, ON24, Zoom Events, Veeva, Event Technology
