Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: England, Greater London, MertonJob Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hoursPrimary Industry: Education and TrainingSecondary Industry: Education and TrainingSalary: £110 - £130 Per dayJob Duties: Supporting students with special educational needs in classroom activitiesAssisting the class teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)Providing one-on-one support to students who require extra helpHelping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environmentAssisting with behaviour management and promoting positive learning behaviours Required Qualifications: Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (e.g., CACHE Level 3)Experience working with children or young people with special educational needsKnowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to special educational needs Education: Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in SchoolsExperience: Experience working with children or young people with special educational needsKnowledge and Skills: Understanding of different special educational needs and how to support them effectivelyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work as part of a team and independently Preferred Qualifications: First Aid certificationMental Health First Aid training Working Conditions: Work primarily in a classroom settingFull-time hours, temporary contractMay require some flexibility in working hours All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
